East Asia celebrates Year of the Horse with parades and festivities

People in Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, and other countries across the world welcomed the Year of the Horse on Monday evening. Millions traveled home to celebrate with their families, as the holiday is considered a time of reunion. To mark the occasion, grand parades, light shows, and performances were held across East Asia. People hung lanterns, exchanged red envelopes filled with money, and enjoyed festive banquets.
