Dropkick Murphys & Haywire collaborate & cover each other on new split LP

Not only are Celtic punk vets Dropkick Murphys and Oi!/hardcore band-of-the-moment Haywire touring together (again) this year, the Boston bands are also releasing a split LP called New England Forever that will be available exclusively on the tour. With four tracks from each band, Dropkick Murphys’ side features a song called “Citizen I.C.E.” (a reimagined version of DKM’s 2005 song “Citizen C.I.A.”) that features Haywire, a cover of Haywire’s “Always By My Side,” and two other original songs; and Haywire’s side features a song called “New England Forever” that features Dropkick Murphys, a cover of the Murphys’ “The Boys Are Back,” and two other original songs.

No songs are out digitally at the moment, but a teaser video with a clip of “Citizen I.C.E.” is up and you can check that out below. All dates on the tour are listed below as well.
