Donald Trump praises role played by Egyptian President in Gaza deal
Trump praised Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s on October 13, 2025 as the two leaders appeared together before an international summit on the Gaza deal. “He played a very important role” in talks with Hamas. “I appreciate it very much,” Trump said of Sisi, whom he called as a powerful leader who keeps crime down in his country.
