Does ‘Skate’ have cross-play and cross-progression?

Skate Crossplay Crossprogression: A Skater can be seen.

Skate is finally here, and as players jump in and play on PS5, Xbox, and PC, they are eager to know if the game supports cross-progression and cross-play. The former would allow them to play with their friends, and the latter would let them bring their progress over to other platforms.

Here is what you need to know about the game’s features:

Skate features full cross-play and cross-progression across all platforms. This allows you to transfer your progress and unlocks across platforms thanks to an EA account. Additionally, you can play with friends across platforms thanks to an EA account and adding your friends via their usernames, instead of their platform names.

“The next evolution of the award-winning Skate franchise is here in Early Access. Experience improved Flick-It controls, the rich physics-based skateboarding gameplay that provides those “only in skate.“ moments and off-board exploration for full freedom in the online multiplayer world of San Vansterdam. Your new favourite hangout awaits.

Hang out with friends and the wider community as you explore the constantly changing city of San Vansterdam. Skate the streets or hop off your board and explore on foot to find endless spots for fun. Earn rewards, show off and progress no matter how you want to play as you take on challenges, activities and events. Place skateable objects anywhere in the world to build new spots, create your own challenges against other players with Throwdowns or just explore the city to find the fun.”
