Descendents and Org Music’s reissue campaign continues with a reissue of the band’s third album, 1986’s Enjoy!, which we’ve got a limited edition “bubblegum” vinyl variant of.
Enjoy! found Descendents at their most juvenile, with the toilet paper album cover, fart jokes, and actual recorded farts in the music, but it also had some of the sweetest melodies of their career to date, a punk cover of The Beach Boys’ “Wendy,” and a tongue-in-cheek metal song called “Hürtin’ Crüe.” It’s a Descendents album like no other, and it can be yours on “bubblegum” vinyl now. Get it while it lasts–it’s limited to 400.
Descendents have also announced a tour supporting fellow LA-area punk veterans Social Distortion, which Australian punks The Chats are on too. That tour includes three NYC-area shows: Asbury Park’s Stone Pony Summer Stage on September 5 and Brooklyn Paramount on September 11 & 12. Tickets go on sale Friday (2/27) at 10 AM local. All dates are listed below.
