United Airlines has significantly expanded its transatlantic flights this summer, with a focus on Italy. Italy is always a great choice given its rich history, architecture, fashion and, of course, fabulous food and wine.

With a new route to Palermo in Sicily, the carrier now flies to five Italian airports for summer 2025. For a little more space and comfort, you can enjoy United’s Premium Plus premium economy product, which has wider seats, extra legroom, more recline, amenity kits and elevated food-and-beverage offerings.
