If you’re looking to fly to South America without draining the bank, you should jump on this opportunity. This week’s deal of the day makes it possible to book a lie-flat seat from North America to several LATAM hubs in South America. Business-class deals start at just 35,000 points from the U.S. to South America.
Using Alaska Airlines’ Atmos Rewards points can save you thousands of dollars when traveling south of the equator, as LATAM is a partner of the carrier and offers some sweet spot options. However, Alaska Airlines’ partnership with LATAM will end Oct. 1, so don’t wait to book this deal.

Bottom line
Redeeming just 35,000 points for a lie-flat business-class seat to South America is an excellent deal, especially when cash fares run into the five digits daily. If you’re willing to use a few more points, Atmos Rewards will get you to destinations like Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo.
Luckily, LATAM has several South American hubs, so you could fly for fewer points to Lima, Peru, and then buy a fairly priced cash ticket to explore the rest of the continent. LATAM rarely releases award seats to partner programs, so take advantage of this while you can before the airline’s partnership with Atmos Rewards ends.
