Deal of the day: Book lie-flat business-class seats to Germany starting at 54K points

Looking to cross the Atlantic on points? There’s a new sweet spot you need to know about on an airline you may not have heard of.

Condor, the German leisure airline best known for its distinctive striped tails, expanded its partnership with JetBlue. Now, JetBlue TrueBlue members have the ability to both earn and redeem points on its flights. One of the standout redemptions: You can now book one-way business-class awards to Europe starting at just 54,000 TrueBlue points.

Condor operates nonstop service from its Frankfurt hub to a surprisingly wide range of U.S. cities, including New York, Boston, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Las Vegas, Anchorage and Portland. So, there are plenty of options for JetBlue loyalists or travelers with the right transferable credit cards to explore Germany and beyond in comfort.

Here’s what you need to know to score this deal.

Note that prices and availability were accurate at the time of writing.

Condor Airlines Business Class
ERIC ROSEN/THE POINTS GUY

Airline: Condor

Routes: From John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ), Miami International Airport (MIA), Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), Portland International Airport (PDX), San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) to Frankfurt Airport (FRA)

Best way to book: JetBlue TrueBlue points (transfer from Chase Ultimate Rewards points and Citi ThankYou Rewards points at a 1:1 rate).

Price: Starting at 54,000 points plus $14.10 in taxes and fees from New York or Boston; you’ll pay $60.60 in taxes and fees from Toronto. Flights from other North American cities will cost 99,900 TrueBlue points plus applicable taxes and fees, which is still a decent deal given the lack of surcharges that other airline programs charge on international fares.

Retail price: $1,185-$3,020 one-way

Travel dates: September 2025 through July 2026 (Boston is a seasonal service that only operates May to October)

TPG tip: You can also transfer American Express Membership Rewards points and Capital One miles to JetBlue’s TrueBlue program, though the rates are less appealing at 250:200 and 5:3, respectively.

If your home base airport isn’t JFK, BOS or YYZ, you may be able to find connecting flights to Frankfurt — but it will likely cost you more points. Instead, it could be worth booking a positioning flight to one of these airports to take advantage of this deal.

Frankfurt might not be on your bucket list of European destinations to visit, but as one of Europe’s largest aviation hubs, it’s easy to find cheap cash fares or points redemptions to dozens of other European hot spots.

Bottom line

Redeeming just 54,000 JetBlue TrueBlue points for a lie-flat business-class seat to Europe is an excellent deal, especially when cash fares run into the thousands of dollars.

Condor’s nonstop flights to Frankfurt open up an easy gateway to the rest of Europe, whether you’re planning to connect onward or explore Germany itself. With availability from multiple U.S. gateways and easy transfer options from Chase Ultimate Rewards points and Citi ThankYou Rewards points, this is a sweet spot worth booking while award space lasts.
