Danny Brown taps underscores, Jane Remover, Quadeca & more for new LP ‘Stardust,’ announces tour

Danny Brown has announced a new album, Stardust, which arrives on November 7 via Warp. You may have noticed that Danny’s been spending a lot of time in the sort of hyperpop and hyperpop-adjacent world lately, and the collaborators on this album reflect that. They include underscores, Jane Remover, Frost Children, Quadeca, Femtanyl, JOHNNASCU, 8485, IssBrokie, Nnamdi, Ta Ukraika, and Zheani. The first single is the Holly-produced “Starbust,” which is definitely in that realm. It’s much more chaotic than the more reflective Quaranta album that he last released, and as great as that album was, it’s nice to hear he’s still got plenty of this kind of energy in him too. Check out the song and its DEADHORSES-directed video below.

Danny also announced a tour which has support from both underscores and Femtanyl. That begins on November 10 in Boston and wraps up at Brooklyn’s Warsaw on December 14. Ticket info here. All dates are listed below.
