Community members confront immigration raids in ‘Mexican Beverly Hills’

Downey, California, was rocked on June 11 by a series of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids targeting local businesses, resulting in multiple arrests. A community member who intervened in one incident, leading to the release of a man, told the FRANCE 24 Observers team that the community is shaken but united.
