CIA chief meets Venezuela’s interim leader to discuss ‘potential opportunities’

The head of the CIA travelled to Venezuela and met the country’s interim leader Delcy Rodriguez for about two hours, a US official said Friday. The visit from the senior US official was called a “trust-building measure” in the wake of the shock ouster of Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro on January 3.
