Buses carrying Palestinian prisoners freed under Gaza truce deal arrive in Ramallah

Families eagerly awaited reunification as buses carrying dozens of freed Palestinian prisoners arrived in Ramallah and Gaza. Israel began releasing over 1,900 prisoners and detainees as part of the ceasefire agreement. Cheering crowds greeted the buses arriving in Ramallah from Ofer prison in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, while at least one bus crossed into the Gaza Strip, according to the Hamas-run Prisoners Office. FRANCE 24’s Claire Paccalin reports from Ramallah, West Bank.
