After the dissolution of Oxbow, bandleader Eugene S. Robinson released Mansuetude, the fourth album by his band Buñuel, which he founded in 2016 with Italian musicians Xabier Iriondo, Andrea Lombardini, and Frank Valente. They’ve now made a music video with director Annapaola Martin for its song “A Killing On The Beach,” which stars the band in northern Spain’s Basque Country and puts an eerie, cinematic spin on the song’s title. Check it out below.
Buñuel are also about to begin a North American tour, which has a stacked support lineup. Today Is The Day are on all dates, and most dates also have support from Lydia Lunch’s Murderous Again project (with Tim Dahl and Kevin Shea) and Primitive Man vocalist Ethan McCarthy’s Spiritual Poison project. The first few shows are with Cancerslug.
The tour starts in Atlanta on June 24 and includes a NYC show on July 1 at LPR. All dates are listed below, and you can find all ticket links here.
