Brandi Carlile streaming Minneapolis show live for charity: “I am so heartbroken & angry”

Brandi Carlile‘s The Human Tour with The Head and The Heart stops at Minneapolis’ Target Center on Saturday (2/21), and amidst the city’s occupation by ICE, she’s announced that the show will stream live on Veeps, to benefit Minnesota nonprofit The Advocates for Human Rights. In a statement, Brandi says:

I am so heartbroken and angry for Minnesota. Over the past month, the community there has continued to set an incredible example for the rest of us, demonstrating the power of uniting to protect our neighbors and defend what is right…What affects one of us, affects all of us and we need to continue to look out for each other. We’ll find a way”

All Veeps proceeds will benefit The Advocates For Human Rights via The Looking Out Foundation.

The show begins streaming on Saturday, February 21 at 8 PM ET / 7 PM CT, and will available to view live and on demand for 48 hours. Tickets to watch are on sale now, and you can watch Brandi talk about the stream below.

Brandi released her new album Returning to Myself in October. The Head and the Heart also announced a 15-year anniversary tour for their self-titled debut this week.
