Bold and the Beautiful: Deke & Hope Conspire Against Steffy – Shocking Betrayal Plot Unfolds?!

Bold and the Beautiful has Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) adamant that her mom, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), cannot chase a married man, but Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) strongly disagree.

Steffy wants Taylor to stay far from Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) for her own safety. Him being married to psycho Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) makes Taylor’s crush on Deacon quite dangerous. But Hope and Deke are thrilled that Deacon and Taylor are developing feelings for each other.

Hope & Deke’s Plan to Oust Sheila Carter on Bold and the Beautiful

We know that Hope and Deke despise that their dad, Deacon, is married to with Sheila. So, they may go to extremes to get Deacon with Taylor and get Sheila out of all their lives. We saw how elated that Deke was when Deacon admitted he’s got feelings for some woman other than his wife, Sheila. And Deke was even more excited when he heard that person is Taylor. We saw Deke encouraging Deacon to go for it. He likes Taylor; he thinks she’s great, and he’s all about it.

Steffy Forrester vs. Hope Logan: The Battle Over Taylor’s Safety on B&B

Then we saw Steffy go to Hope trying to make it sound like Deacon was making a move on her mom. But then she finally admitted Taylor is just as into Deacon as he is into her. Steffy insisted that Hope needs to help keep Deacon and Taylor apart. But Hope doesn’t agree with Steffy, except about the part that Sheila will lose her mind if she thinks she’s going to lose her man.

And then when Hope was talking to Deke this week and they realized Deacon is crushing on Taylor and the feeling is mutual, they were both really amped up. Deke thinks Taylor could be the one to get Deacon out of his marriage to Sheila, and Hope agrees.

So, I suspect Deke and Hope might team up and do some matchmaking to get Deacon Sharpe and Taylor together and get Sheila out of the picture and out of their lives. Of course, any scheming that Hope and Deke get into has to be done behind Steffy’s back because if she finds out what Hope is doing, then she’s going to rage.

The whole reason Steffy wants Taylor away from Deacon is because she thinks Sheila will hurt Taylor for taking her hubby. And you know, Sheila has shot Taylor before. There’s dangerous history there. I think it would be a double betrayal in Sheila’s eyes because, in her twisted mind, she really thinks she and Taylor are friends.

So, her stealing her husband would be just twice as bad. Not only do you steal him, but you’re my friend and you do this. Sheila doesn’t seem to be able to read any room that she’s in and understand when people like her and don’t like her.

Will Steffy Fire Hope from Forrester Creations Over Personal Drama?

What’s really wild in all of this is Brad Bell is writing this violent, homicidal woman as the victim in this storyline, which is insane, but at the same time very typical for him. And of course, Hope and Deke wouldn’t want anything bad to happen to Taylor,.

but they may be so focused on doing what’s best for their dad, that they might underestimate the danger and what Sheila might do to Taylor. I mean, heck, Steffy might even fire Hope if she catches her pushing Deacon and Taylor to go ahead and get into a romance.

She has no problem getting rid of her line and firing her over personal things. If Steffy fires Hope over this, by the way, that would open the door for her to go over to Logan and work with her aunt Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Deke which may happen. I think that would be interesting.

Strategic Matchmaking on Bold and the Beautiful: Family Therapy and Lunches at Il Giardino

But let’s talk about what Hope Logan and Deke might actually do. First off, they could arrange for a family therapy session with Dr. Taylor Hayes where the kids make it clear that they want better for Deacon and they want Sheila out of his life. Deke and Hope might nudge Taylor during this family counseling session.

They might let her know that they approve of the idea of her being with Deacon. I mean, really, Steffy’s the only one who’s against this – her and Sheila. Of course, her concerns are valid, but everyone else would love to see Taylor and Deacon together. Everybody except Sheila. So, hearing approval from Finn and Hope might persuade Taylor to give it a shot.

Bold and the Beautiful: Love Connection at Il Giardino

A second thing is Hope could call Taylor just pleasantly and ask her to bring Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) and meet her and little Beth for lunch at Il Giardino, of course, and Deke could make sure that Deacon’s there. Then they all sit down together like a big family meal.

Deke and Hope could conveniently decide to take the kids out for a walk or to get ice cream and leave Deacon and Taylor there in a lunch date sort of situation. They just need to make sure Sheila is somewhere else and not at Il Giardino if they try that.

The Parent Trap: Forced Proximity in the Il Giardino Wine Room on B&B

Another thing that might be fun for Deke and Hope to try is a literal parent trap. They could pull off a forced proximity plot. You know, Taylor shows up at Il Giardino to pick up takeout and Deke sends her to say hi to Deacon in the wine room or the storage room.

Once she goes in, Deke accidentally locks them in, but totally on purpose. I think this would be fun to see Taylor and Deacon stuck in a room together. It might only take about five seconds before they start kissing passionately.

Once these two finally kiss and get a little steamy, I think it’s going to be even harder for Taylor to deny how attracted she is to Deacon. She might stop resisting and just go ahead and fall for him.

Confronting the Villain: An Intervention for Sheila Carter

Also, another option is we could see Deke working on Sheila, approaching it from the other side along with Hope. Maybe they could stage an intervention type of situation and tell Sheila, “Look, don’t you want what’s best for Deacon? We know you love him, but you are not a healthy choice for him. You’re not good for his life.”

Because Deacon’s relationships with his family and friends can’t flourish because of Sheila, Hope and Deke may try and convince her to be the bigger person and prove she’s changed by walking away and letting Deacon have a better life.

Brooke Logan’s Surprising Support for the Taylor and Deacon Romance on Bold and the Beautiful

Fifth, and finally, the last thing that we’re thinking about is Hope may get her mom, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), involved in this. I could see Hope telling Brooke about this potential Deacon and Taylor romance. Then Brooke goes over to drop in to see Taylor at work, which she’s done before.

Or maybe invites her to lunch, maybe at Il Giardino. Brooke can tell Taylor that she heard from a little birdie that she and Deacon have mutual crushes. Brooke can tell Taylor that she wants her to find her destiny and she may say, “Deacon is a great choice. He’s such a good man.”

Bold and the Beautiful: Brooke Encourages Taylor

Now, Brooke may also reiterate how happy she and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) are just as a reminder to Taylor that he’s not an option and isn’t going to be. And like she’s done in her own life, Brooke may encourage Taylor to follow her heart wherever it leads and to go ahead and make a play for Deacon.

As for Sheila Carter, she’s not good for Deacon. Everybody knows it. He and Taylor both deserve a true happily ever after with somebody who is not only in love with them, but who’s also good for them and brings out the best version of them.

Brooke has said several times that she wants Taylor to find someone special, her own destiny. Once Brooke finds out that there’s a guy that’s caught Taylor’s eye, she’s going to ship it. I totally think she might help with the matchmaking.

Especially since Deacon getting with Taylor means Sheila will be out of all their lives. That’s another selling point. But again, Brad Bell is painting felonious, murderous Sheila as the victim in this storyline. So, we’ll have to wait and see how it plays out.
