Blood Orange shares new single “The Field” ft Caroline Polachek & The Durutti Column

After announcing it was coming earlier this month, Dev Hynes has shared a new Blood Orange single, “The Field.” It’s his first new music in three years. The song features Caroline Polachek, The Durutti Column’s Vini Reilly, Tariq Al-Sabir, Eva Tolkin, and Daniel Caesar. It’s gorgeously produced with Reilly’s delicate nylon-string guitar-work, airy harmonies and a skittering beat.

Dev directed the very vibey video and you can watch that below.

Blood Orange also has dates supporting Lorde and Turnstile (he appears on both of their new albums), and is playing San Francisco’s Portola Festival. All dates are below.
