Barghouti is ‘the most qualified’ to be Palestinian leader, ex-head of Mossad says
In an interview with FRANCE 24, former Mossad chief Efraim Halevy said “there is a major confrontation between Israel and its enemies at this particular point in time” and that Israel “had no option but to return and to make sure that we are safe”. Regarding the recent US and Israeli strikes on Iran, Halevy called them “a success” but said it was “too early to say” if the US attack on the Fordo nuclear facility achieved its aim.
