bar italia share new single “Cowbella”

Yesterday, UK trio bar italia announced North American tour dates and now they’re back with their first new single since 2024’s The Tw*ts EP. “Cowbella” is snarling and sultry in a ’90s-style indie kind of way and makes the best of Nina Cristante, Sam Fenton and Jezmi Tarik Fehmi’s unique vocal interplay.

The satirical “Cowbella” video was directed by Aidan Pontarini, Ben Schumacher and Luke Schumacher and involves the band running an illegal bespoke DIY fashion line out a seedy basement. Check that out below.

No word on whether “Cowbella” will be attached to a new album or not but it’s been two years since their last full length, so they’re due.
