Amanda Shires has announced a new album, Nobody’s Girl, which will be out September 26 via ATO. Like 2022’s Take It Like a Man, she made it with producer Lawrence Rothman.
This is Amanda’s first album since her divorce from Jason Isbell, and she says, “Nobody’s Girl is what came after the wreckage, the silence, the rebuilding. It’s about standing in the aftermath of a life you thought would last forever and realizing no one is coming to save you.”
The first single from the album is the cinematic “A Way It Goes,” and you can watch the video for that below.
Amanda will be on tour with Aly & AJ this fall, including a NYC show at Terminal 5 on October 17. All dates are listed below.
