Algeria sentences French sports journalist to seven years in jail

Algerian authorities have sentenced French sports journalist, Christophe Gleizes, to seven years in prison on charges of “gloriying terrorism”, according to media rights group Reporters Without Borders (RSF). “He is just a journalist doing his job. He’s a sports reporter,” Director General of RSF Thibaut Bruttin told to FRANCE 24.
