AFI share “Holy Visions” from their ’80s goth-inspired new album

AFI have shared the second single from their upcoming new album Silver Bleeds the Black Sun, and like lead single “Behind the Clock,” the just-released “Holy Visions” finds the band putting their punk/post-hardcore side on the backburner and leaning fully into their love of ’80s goth rock. It comes with a video directed by Gilbert Trejo, who also directed the “Behind the Clock” video, and Davey Havok calls Gilbert’s clip “the perfect visual sublimation of the song.” See for yourself below.

Silver Bleeds the Black Sun arrives 10/3 via their new label home of Run For Cover, and we’ve got a very-close-to-sold-out exclusive purple & white swirl vinyl variant as well as a white/violet vinyl variant up for pre-order in the BV shop, along with lots of other AFI vinyl.

A few days before the album’s release, AFI begin their tour with another gothy act, TR/ST, and that tour hits NYC on October 15 at Brooklyn Paramount. All dates are listed below.
