Spiritual Cramp played Brooklyn with Restraining Order, Radioactivity & Loosey (pics, setlist)

Bay Area band Spiritual Cramp were in Brooklyn over the weekend, playing Music Hall of Williamsburg on Saturday as part of their Alternative Press-presented North American tour supporting last year’s fun RUDE. While they come from the hardcore scene, the band owe a lot to the early-’00s garage rock and post-punk revival so it seems fitting that amongst their own very catchy songs they dropped a cover of The Caesars’ iPod commercial sountracking “Jerk it Out.”

The MHOW bill was pretty stacked bill of punk, featuring sets from Massachusetts’ Restraining Order, Austin vets Radioactivity, and NYC’s Loosey. Check out photos by Rob Menzer of the whole night, and Spiritual Cramp’s setlist, below.
