Video: United Women sensation scoops double award as dream season reaches new heights

Manchester United Women have been enjoying a very impressive season.

Marc Skinner’s side are currently second in the Women’s Super League table behind Manchester City.

They are also in the final of the League Cup, where they will face Chelsea next month.

The Red Devils are also safely into the quarter-finals of the Champions League in their debut season. They will come up against Bayern Munich in March.

Jess Park

One of the reasons for their incredible success has been the sublime form of Jess Park.

The England international has been an absolute catalyst for her side this season after moving from Manchester City in September. Park had already won the club’s Player of the Month award in October, November, and December.

She also won the award for February, amassing an impressive 59% of the vote on the club’s official website, ahead of both Melvine Malard and Swede, Julia Zigiotti.

The United midfielder also came out on top in the poll for the club’s Goal of the Month award.

Her sensational strike from range against Atlético Madrid impressed fans around the world.

She scored an almost identical goal against London City Lionesses just a few days later, demonstrating her sublime talent.

Park also set up Lisa Naalsund earlier in the month, meaning she now has 13 goal contributions in her first five months at the Progress with Unity Stadium.

Park will hope to continue her fine form for England over the international break.

She also has a huge last three months of the season coming up as United aim to win the League Cup for the first time in their history.

They will also aim to qualify for the Champions League next season and keep their European dream alive as long as they possibly can.
