13 New Songs Out Today

So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.

PINKPANTHERESS – “ILLEGAL (FOUR TET REMIX)”

PinkPantheress’ “Illegal” from last year’s Fancy That has now gotten a remix by Four Tet that is somehow both more chilled out and high energy.

NØ MAN – “MOAN”

NØ MAN (members of Majority Rule) are back with a new single called “Moan” and it’s unsurprisingly a total rager.

LAMB OF GOD – “BLUNT FORCE BLUES”

All the singles from NWOAHM veterans Lamb of God’s upcoming album Into Oblivion have kicked serious ass and “Blunt Force Blues” is no exception. Be sure to pre-order our exclusive “green smoke” vinyl variant while it lasts.

JUVENILE -“B.B.B” (REMIX, ft. MEGAN THEE STALLION)

Two generations of Southern rap meet on Juvenile and Megan Thee Stallion’s “B.B.B.,” which will be included on Juvie’s upcoming new album Boiling Point, due March 26.

SHE’S GREEN – “METTLE”

Minneapolis band.she’s green have followed their 2025 EP Chrysalis with a new single, “mettle.” Bandleader Zofia Smith says it “channels the frustration and discomfort that stem from what often feels like constant bad news, while also being an anthem of resilience and the courage to take action and bring about positive change.”

DYLAN BRADY – “NEEDLE GUY”

Dylan Brady of 100 gecs has shared a new solo single via his own Dog Show Records, the squelchy “Needle Guy.”

ANGÈLE – “WHAT YOU WANT” (FEAT. JUSTICE)

Belgian artist Angèle has collaborated with Justice on her new single. “Spending a bit of time with Angèle confirmed the intuition we had about her: she’s an excellent musician and producer,” say Justice. “Making ‘What You Want’ with her felt as easy as it was natural. Although her music is different from ours, the track called for something sensual and brutal that we instinctively connected with, without compromise.”

DOLL SPIRIT VESSEL – “DUMPTRUCK”

Doll Spirit Vessel have shared a final single before their new album Bow arrives next week.

XCOMM – “HOT PURSUIT / ONE AND NOTHING”

XCOMM, the teenage hardcore band featuring Scott Ian’s son Revel Ian on drums, shared two new singles. Vocalist Michael Gatto says, “‘Hot Pursuit’ is about everyday frustrations and the way we put energy and purpose to combat those frustrations, I remember this one was written at our second ever rehearsal. ‘One And Nothing‘, on the other hand, is about moments of clarity and realizations that you do have control over your surroundings and the way things play out.”

BIG LONG SUN – “CALL IT A VOICE”

Brighton band big long sun are releasing their third album long songs and spiritual recollections, on April 22 via state51, and they’ve shared “call it a voice.” Jamie Broughton says it’s “A dark, paranoid folk anthem for the spiritually insecure mind. The lyrics explore the different shades of madness that accompany solitude. Whereas ‘my stars aligning’ presents a joyful and ecstatic aspect of the big long vision, ‘call it voice’ is cold and insular. A calculated mania in B minor, with major notes of melancholy.”

NINE INCH NAILS – TRON:ARES DIVERGENCE

Nine Inch Nails did the score for last year’s TRON:Ares — the best thing about the movie — and they’ve now released a remix album that they surprise dropped on streaming services today. It’s titled TRON:Ares Divergence and it features Boys Noize, Arca, Danny L Harle, Chilly Gonzales, Meat Beat Manifesto‘s Jack Dangers, Lanark Artefax, Pixel Grip, Working Men’s Club, The Dare, and Schwefelgelb.

BIRDLEGS (AFI’S JADE PUGET) – “MIND IN THE MARGINS”

AFI guitarist Birdlegs reunites with two members of his ’90s youth crew revival band Redemption 87, Eric Ozenne (who went on to front The Nerve Agents) and Gary Gutfeld, in a new band on Revelation Records, Birdlegs. Read more about their debut single here.

FROZEN SOUL – “NO PLACE OF WARMTH” (ft. GERARD WAY)

No stranger to collaborating with extreme metal bands, My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way has lent his voice to the new single by one of our favorite current death metal bands, Frozen Soul. It’s called “No Place of Warmth” and it’s off the band’s just-announced new album of the same name. Read more here.
