Children get taste of rural life at France’s farming show, despite lack of cows

France’s farming show Le Salon de l’Agriculture wraps up this Sunday, and according to organisers, this year has seen a drop in the number of attendees, which were down by 25 percent during the first few days. A possible reason may be the absence of traditional cattle, following the recent outbreak of lumpy skin disease. But, that hasn’t stopped farmers introducing young city dwellers to their profession.
