Epstein files: Clinton hearings ‘political theatre to distract public from Trump’

Former President Bill Clinton is testifying Friday before members of Congress investigating convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, a day after Clinton’s wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, sat with lawmakers for her own deposition. However, according to Ian Reifowitz, history professor at SUNY-Empire State University, the hearings a mainly “political theatre” designed to distract the American public from Epstein’s links with Donald Trump.
