Mexico will make ‘a strong show of security’ ahead of World Cup, expert says

Speaking with FRANCE 24’s Mark Owen, Nathan P. Jones, Associate Professor of Security Studies in the College of Criminal Justice at Sam Houston State University, says that “the Mexican government will be making a strong show of security as a matter of national pride” ahead of the World Cup in the aftermath of the killing of drug lord El Mencho, whose death sparked several days of violence across the country.
