Rescuers search for missing after deadly flooding hits southeastern Brazil

​At least 30 people died after heavy rains hit Brazil’s southeastern state of Minas Gerais, local authorities said on Tuesday, while 39 people were missing. A river burst its banks and streets became raging currents of brown water after the overnight downpour in a region that has seen record rain this month.
