Red Bull chief ready to accept United’s club-record bid for mercurial South American – report

Manchester United enjoyed great success with their transfer activity last summer, with all four of their signings making a significant impact this season. The Red Devils invested over £200 million in their frontline, signing Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, and Benjamin Sesko.

Meanwhile, the 25 year old has been embroiled in various controversies both on and off the pitch during his stay at the Santiago Bernabeu, which could be a distraction for a club looking to get back to their heyday.

Finally, the Red Devils have shown a preference for targets proven in the Premier League and despite his qualities, doubts remain over Vinicius’ ability to cope with the rigours of English football. If United are to invest such a massive amount in attack, perhaps someone like Morgan Rogers would be a safer bet.
