US Ambassador Kushner pledges not to ‘interfere’ in French affairs, diplomatic source says

US ambassador to France Charles Kushner called Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot and pledged not to “interfere” in France’s affairs, according to information obtained on Tuesday from the French minister’s entourage. Kushner failed to respond on Monday to a summons related to comments concerning the death of far-right activist Quentin Deranque.
