Buck Meek announces solo tour, shares “Can I Mend It?” from new album

Big Thief’s Buck Meek releases his excellent new solo album, The Mirror, this Friday and he’s just shared one last early taste before the whole album drops. “Can I Mend It” is another lovely track which features a sampled vocal hook that was made using the classic ’80s Casio SK-1 keyboard. You can listen below.

In other news, Buck has announced a North American tour for The Mirror which kicks off July 7 in Philly and wraps July 22 in Austin. Opening will be Kisser, Buck’s new band with his partner, Germain Dunes, and the band lineup also includes Luke Temple, Jesse Quebemann-Turley, and Jeffertitti Moon. The tour stops at Kingston’s The Assembly on July 11 and NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on July 15. All dates are listed below.

We talked to Buck about The Mirror and more on this week’s episode of the BV Interviews podcast.
