Iran says students can protest, but must respect ‘red lines’

Iran’s government said on Tuesday that students could continue protests but most not cross “red lines” such as disrespecting the national flag and other “sacred things”. Students rallied at the start of a new semester on Saturday, following on from nationwide protests in January that sparked a deadly crackdown from the authorities.
