Pakistan launches strikes in Afghanistan, ‘dozens’ killed and wounded, Kabul says

Pakistan launched multiple cross-border strikes targeting “terrorist training camps and hideouts” in eastern Afghanistan, the information ministry said Sunday. Afghanistan’s defence ministry said “dozens” of civilians, including women and children, were killed and wounded as tensions between the two countries escalated at the start of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
