Flood-hit western France braces for Storm Pedro

Already experiencing some its worst flooding in decades after days of rain, western France is bracing for further extreme weather as Storm Pedro nears the coast, threatening to bring more heavy rain and strong winds. France’s meteorological service has maintained red alert flood warnings for four departments in the west and southwest of the country.
