Rubio meets Orban as Trump ally lags in polls ahead of Hungary elections

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio met Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban Monday during a visit to Budapest on the final stage of his Europe tour. An ally of President Donald Trump, who has also maintained close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Orban lags behind the main opposition candidate in opinion polls ahead of Hungary’s April 12 parliamentary elections.
