Scores left stranded by floods in southwest France

Some 80 people have been left stranded in Marmande, a small town in southwest France, after heavy rain caused the River Garonne to burst its banks. Each house is surrounded by nearly 10 metres of water. The mayor and rescue workers are working to bring supplies to the stranded residents.
