US Attorney General Bondi deflects questions, clashes with democrats over Epstein files

US Attorney General Pam Bondi on Wednesday forcefully defended her department’s handling of the files related to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, an issue that has dogged her tenure. With victims of Epstein seated behind her, Bondi tried to deflect from relentless criticism by mocking her Democratic questioners and praising Trump over the performance of the stock market.
