General Hospital TWIST: Willow’s Next Despicable Move – Ruthless & Shocking Revenge Unleashed!

General Hospital has Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) waiting to get the verdict at the end of this week. Will she be found guilty or not guilty of shooting her hunky but horrible husband, Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison)? No matter how the jury rules, Willow’s life is going to change drastically very soon.

We’re gonna talk about what’s next for Willow if the jury finds her not guilty. And what kind of twists could be coming.

Will the Jury Deliver a Not Guilty Verdict on General Hospital?

So, we may find out the verdict at the end of this week. But there’s a chance it could carry over onto Monday if General Hospital wants a huge Friday cliffhanger moment. So, we’re going to find out if Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) convinced that jury that Willow is innocent of shooting Drew.

Despite Alexis misspeaking during her closing argument, which I feel was intentional, I fully expect the very soapy outcome of Willow scoring a not guilty verdict from the jury. And if Alexis did her job and Willow’s acquitted, we’re going to talk about what awful things she might do next.

Willow’s Plan to Frame Michael Corinthos for Shooting Drew on GH

First of all, assuming that she is exonerated, the first thing I suspect is that Willow is going to do her level best to get Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) charged with Drew’s shooting. We know Willow’s been playing this whole victim thing, convincing everybody that she truly believes Michael shot Drew and then framed her for it.

With Willow playing innocent and Alexis throwing Michael under the bus at trial, you know DA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) is going to be eager to press charges against somebody else. This was a high-profile shooting. The DA cannot let it go. So, I can see Willow doubling down to make sure that Michael is charged and tried and found guilty.

I mean, heck, Willow might even go on the record and make up some things to make Michael look guiltier. She can fib and say that she heard Michael threatening Drew. I mean, Willow lied under oath and she’s been lying through her teeth to everybody. So, you know, what’s another lie or two or three?

A Toxic Custody Battle for Wiley and Amelia on General Hospital

Now, the next thing I expect, assuming we get this not guilty verdict, is that Willow is obviously going to immediately try and get her kids back. I don’t know if Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) will keep representing Willow since he and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) made peace. But then again, we also know Sonny doesn’t agree with Michael about keeping Willow away from the kids.

And if Ric doesn’t represent her, that’s not going to stop Willow from pursuing this custody case. If it’s not Ric repping her, then Willow may turn to Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) for help getting her kids back since he works for Drew.

Willow may get her lawyer to file an emergency request for custody because if DA Justine has Michael under investigation, I think Willow could make a play for sole custody of Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Grace Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Maco).

Willow Keeps the Kids from Michael

From there, she would probably try to keep the kids away from Michael in revenge for him keeping them away from her. It’s bad enough that Willow tormented Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) to the point that she left the country and took Michael’s youngest daughter, Daisy, with her. Now, Michael doesn’t get to see Daisy at all.

For Willow to take his other kids, that would be terrible. But also very typical behavior for Willow. She may have her lawyer tell the court that based on Michael being investigated for shooting Drew. And because he’s dating Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) a sex worker, then Willow should get the kids.

I’m sure Michael will argue that Jacinda is out of the escort business. But Willow will probably would have her lawyer insist that Michael thinks Drew —who is a congressman, a former Navy SEAL, and a veteran—is a risk to be around Willow and the kids. But somehow a hooker is okay. I’m not casting aspersions on Jacinda; I’m just saying that’s how they would probably approach it in court. They could imply that Michael’s a suspected attempted murderer and is using very poor judgment about who he lets around the kids.

Willow Dumps Drew Cain and Invokes Double Jeopardy on General Hospital

Another thing I suspect is coming for Willow is that she goes ahead and she dumps Drew hard. Willow may wait until she gets Wiley and Amelia back, or realizes she doesn’t need Drew to get her kids back.

Willow may tell Drew, “You know what? I hate you. I want a divorce. And by the way, I shot you. But go ahead, feel free to have Michael prosecuted because I can’t be charged for the crime. That’s double jeopardy.”

And Drew would be dumbfounded and devastated, which would be pure karma for Congressman Cutthroat. This is the thing that I most want to see—is for him to find out that Willow did it. It’s going to be incredible.

Will Willow Steal Harrison Chase from Brook Lynn Quartermaine?

Another thing Willow might do, which would be super low, is try and steal her ex-husband Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) away from Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). I mean, we know that Willow obviously has no respect for marriage because she slept with Drew and threw her marriage to Michael away.

For months now, Chase has been Willow’s biggest champion, one of the few people who has never doubted her innocence, even though she’s not. Chase risked his career when he took her side over the cops and over the DA when he was testifying. He even got himself suspended to be her champion.

Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) just confronted Chase. But he still wouldn’t apologize for defending Willow and trying to prove her innocence. He said that he wants justice. Justice, of course, as we know in this trial, probably is not going to get served.

Since Willow has proven that she’s utterly toxic, I can totally see her trying to snatch Chase away from BLQ. Just imagine poor Chase’s shock and horror when the truth inevitably comes out that Willow was guilty and she shot Drew in cold blood and lied right in Chase’s face.

Willow Targets the Quartermaine Fortune and Alimony on General Hospital

Another thing I think Willow might do is set herself up for financial security for her and the kids. Don’t forget, Michael and Drew are both rich. Willow may push for custody and get big fat child support payments from Michael.

And then when Willow divorces Drew, she may take him to the cleaners, sue him for a big alimony payday. And also take that house. Willow may go after the money from both so she doesn’t have to rely on any man or her rich mom, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), for what she and the kids need.

Willow just might enjoy taking money from Michael and Drew to punish them and just for the fun of it. Even if she cashes in, Willow may still keep her nursing job at GH, though, to keep up her “Little Miss Perfect Goody Two Shoes” persona.

Puts Nina in Her Place on General Hospital: Willow Goes Full Nelle from Hell

Last but not least, I suspect Willow may set some harsh new terms with her mom, Nina. Right now, Willow is playing nice with her mother because she needs Nina by her side in court for the optics—not just for the criminal trial, but probably also for the custody case.

Assuming Willow gets that not guilty verdict in the criminal case, she may turn around and corner Nina and say, “You’re going to do what I say. You’re going to help me get my kids or I will cut you out of my life and out of the kids’ lives once and for all.”

Willow might tell Nina she doesn’t care that her mom slept with Drew because he’s a pig, but she’s taking control and Nina can do it her way or hit the highway. Willow may really scare Nina and go full Nelle from hell on her like her more evil twin Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). Nina, of course, is terrified of losing Willow again.

She wants to see the grandkids. So, I’m pretty sure Nina would toe the line and do whatever Willow says. So, we’ll find out when we get the verdict. But once that not guilty comes in, which I suspect just because it’s the soapiest outcome, I think Willow is going to start doing bad things almost right away.
