Comedian and Bob’s Burgers castmember Eugene Mirman has a new comedy album, Here Comes the Whimsy, which will be out February 5 via Pretty Good Friends. It’s also a standup special which will stream on VEEPS starting February 5, which you can purchase or watch with your VEEPS subscription.
Here Comes the Whimsy was recorded live in Somerville, MA, where Mirman finds laughs in “fatherhood, insights from travel, dress-code trauma, rental car disputes, and more.” As he is wont to do, Eugene also has a bunch of exclusive purchase bundles for the album, including one that comes with commemorative plate with a royal title. Eugene tells us about Here Comes the Whimsy and a few of those bundles in a video — watch below.
Eugene also has a few tour dates, including West Coast shows with Todd Barry, and he’ll open for Michael Shannon & Jason Narducy’s R.E.M.’s Life’s Rich Pageant shows in Boston (March 6 at Royale) and NYC (March 7 at Brooklyn Steel). All dates are listed below.
