Deal alert: Points and miles travel deals for January 2026

From bonus points on your next hotel stay to generous sales on airline miles, we’re always looking for travel deals that help you earn more points and miles and allow you to redeem them for maximum value. In other words, we want to help you book the vacation of your dreams.

This month, we found economy seats to Amsterdam for as low as 12,000 Virgin points and business-class tickets to Prague or Budapest for 55,000 Atmos Rewards points. Travelers can save 15% or more on select IHG stays, or earn 2,000 Hilton Honors bonus points per stay through April. And check out these Disney World discounts to cut costs on your summer vacation.

This includes everything from frequent flyer programs and hotel rewards programs to credit card offers and rental car deals. Here’s our latest list of noteworthy new points and miles promotions for January.

Airline loyalty program promotions (January 2026)

Airline loyalty programs can offer trip discounts on specific dates, as well as the opportunity to earn more points or miles for future travel and exclusive deals to accumulate points or miles toward elite status. Below are some of the best offers we found for January.

Save 30% on Singapore KrisFlyer redemptions

Singapore Airlines’ KrisFlyer program has announced its latest round of Spontaneous Escapes, offering 30% off Saver award rates to select destinations across the carrier’s network when you redeem miles.

Discounted routes include New York to Frankfurt for 19,250 miles one-way in economy and San Francisco to Singapore for 55,300 miles one-way in premium economy, plus taxes and fees. Check the Singapore Airlines website for all applicable flights and each route’s blackout dates.

Book by Jan. 31 for travel between Feb. 1 and 28.

Earn MQDs on Delta stays and cars

If earning Delta Air Lines Medallion elite status is one of your New Year’s resolutions, this promotion could help you get there.

For the next few weeks, you can earn 1 Medallion Qualification Dollar per dollar spent on hotels, vacation rentals and rental cars booked through Delta’s site. (These purchases typically earn Delta miles but not elite-qualifying MQDs.)

Book by Feb. 16 for travel through Sept. 13.

Earn bonus Atmos Rewards points for online shopping

Airline shopping portals are an easy way to earn extra miles on your everyday purchases, especially when they run promotions.

Until Jan. 23, Atmos Rewards Shopping is offering a New Year Bonus: 400 bonus Atmos Rewards points when you spend at least $150 across all merchants, or 1,200 bonus points when you spend at least $300 total. That’s on top of the points you’d normally earn through the portal, as well as any credit card rewards earned on your purchase.

Hotel loyalty program promotions (January 2026)

Hotel loyalty programs occasionally offer discounted stays and new ways to earn extra points. Here are some January deals to consider when booking your next stay.

Earn bonus points at Hyatt Vacation Club

World of Hyatt‘s latest offer is perfect for travelers who need more space or a full kitchen.

You can earn 3,000 bonus Hyatt points per night at participating Hyatt Vacation Club properties, up to a maximum of 30,000 bonus points (worth $510 by our January 2026 valuations). Register by March 22, and complete your stay(s) by March 29.

Card issuers offer deals and discounts on a wide range of products, from airfare to dining. Here are some of the offers we’ve rounded up this week. Note that you must activate these offers on your card and use the enrolled card to make the purchase in order to earn bonus rewards. Not all offers may be available on your account.

Targeted Amex Offer at Turo

If you’ll need a rental car for your 2026 travels, check your Amex Offers. We found this one on the American Express® Gold Card.

Earn 20% back, up to a $30 cash-back maximum, when you book a Turo car rental online at turo.com by March 31. This offer is valid for U.S. and Canada reservations only.

Targeted Chase Offer at Hyatt Vacation Club

Here’s another potentially lucrative offer, this time for a Hyatt vacation rental. We spotted it on the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (see rates and fees).

Earn 7% cash back, up to a $56 cash-back maximum, on a purchase of at least $100 at Hyatt Vacation Club by Feb. 28. This offer is valid in-store in the U.S. only and online at hyatt.com only.

Don’t forget to stack this offer with Hyatt’s bonus-points promotion.

Earn 1,000 bonus Avios in economy or 2,000 bonus Avios in business class when you fly Qatar Airways’ new route between Doha’s Hamad International Airport (DOH) and Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea International Airport (RSI) in either direction. Register, then book and travel by Jan. 21.
Earn up to quadruple Air France-KLM Flying Blue miles when you rent a car with Sixt. Book by Jan. 31 for travel through Feb. 28.

Earn 3,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points per night at select hotels in Japan when you book using promo code “S2449” and stay by Feb. 11.
Earn double Enterprise Plus points on eligible rentals through Feb. 28, plus additional points when you collect “badges” for various activities during the promotion period. Sign in on this page, and you’ll automatically be registered to earn extra points this winter.
IHG One Rewards members can receive a 15% discount on bookings made with points at new and recently renovated hotels. Book an eligible property and stay by Feb. 28.
After you register, earn double IHG One Rewards base points on unlimited stays until March 31, starting with your second qualifying stay.
Hilton Honors is offering a welcome bonus for new members: 500 bonus points after your first stay as a member, another 1,000 bonus points after two stays and 1,500 more points after three stays. Join by March 31, and complete your stay(s) within six months of joining.
New members of the Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards program can save up to $50 on their next flight simply by joining the program by Dec. 31. U.S. residents outside the states of Alaska, California and Hawaii can register here for their discount code; residents of California and Hawaii can register here.

Earn a $200 statement credit after spending a total of $1,000 on eligible flights booked at amextravel.com by Jan. 31. Flights must originate in the U.S. and be operated by Lufthansa, Brussels Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Swiss or Discover Airlines.
Earn 10% back, up to $120 in cash back, on qualifying purchases of prepaid hotel bookings at expedia.com/amex by Feb. 2.
Earn a $100 statement credit when you spend $500 or more on room rate and room charge purchases at participating Omni hotels and resorts in the U.S. and Canada by Feb. 15.
Earn 5 additional American Express Membership Rewards points per dollar spent, up to 50,000 points total, on qualifying purchases made on the AmaWaterways website by March 2. This offer applies to cruise reservations and onboard spending.
Earn a $100 statement credit when you spend $500 or more at participating Raffles, Fairmont, SLS, Sofitel and Legend properties by March 16.
