France drawn with Senegal and Norway for World Cup group stage

The group stage draw for next summer’s World Cup took place in Washington on Friday, with France placed in Group I alongside Senegal and Norway. Co-hosts Mexico will kick off the tournament against South Africa on June 11, while Argentina will begin their title defence against Algeria in Group J.
