Deal alert: Points and miles travel deals for December 2025

From bonus points on your next hotel stay to generous sales on airline miles, we’re always looking for travel deals that help you earn more points and miles and redeem them for maximum value. In other words, we want to help you book the vacation of your dreams.

This week, we found flights to Europe starting at 18,750 miles with Flying Blue’s Promo Rewards. Citi ThankYou Rewards members can check to see if they’re targeted for up to $50 off at Amazon, while Capital One miles collectors may be targeted for a fantastic offer for bonus miles on Disney/Universal tickets.

Plus, some Black Friday hotel sales are still going on, including those from Hilton Honors and World of Hyatt, and a few Cyber Monday flight deals and cruise deals are still available.

We help our readers each week by rounding up promotions so you don’t have to scour the internet for the best reward redemptions and offers. This includes everything from frequent flyer programs and hotel rewards programs to credit card offers and rental car deals. Here’s our latest list of noteworthy new points and miles promotions for December.

Airline loyalty program promotions (December 2025)

Airline loyalty programs can offer trip discounts on specific dates, as well as the opportunity to earn more points or miles for future travel and exclusive deals to accumulate points or miles toward elite status. Below are some of the best offers we found for December.

Earn bonus Lufthansa miles on car rentals

If you’ll need a rental car for your winter travels, this Lufthansa promotion is offering extra Miles & More miles on Sixt rentals worldwide.

In addition to the 500 miles per rental you’d normally earn, you can get 100 to 500 bonus miles per rental day, depending on the car class:

• 100 bonus miles per day for Compact and Intermediate
• 200 bonus miles per day for Standard and Full-size
• 300 bonus miles per day for Premium
• 400 bonus miles per day for Luxury
• 500 bonus miles per day for Extraordinary

Book by Jan. 6, 2026, for car rentals through Feb. 28, 2026 (with blackout dates between Dec. 22, 2025, and Jan. 4, 2026).

Hotel loyalty program promotions (December 2025)

Hotel loyalty programs occasionally offer discounted stays and new ways to earn extra points. Here are some December deals to consider when booking your next stay.

Earn up to 20,000 bonus Best Western points

Best Western Rewards members can get bonus points in their stockings this holiday season when they stay in the U.S., Canada or the Caribbean.

The hotel chain’s latest promotion offers 5,000 bonus points for every two qualifying nights you stay, up to a maximum of 20,000 bonus points. Register, then complete your stay(s) by Feb. 1, 2026.

Five thousand Best Western points are equivalent to $25 when you use Best Western’s “Pay with Points” feature to save money on your stay. However, you can likely get more value from your points by booking an award stay; redemptions start at just 8,000 points per night.

Earn bonus Accor points in Europe or North Africa

Dreaming of a European ski trip? Take a look at the newest promotion from Accor Live Limitless.

You can earn 1,000 bonus ALL points (worth 20 euros, or around $23, off a future stay) when you book a qualifying stay at least 15 days in advance. To qualify, your stay must be two nights or more at a participating hotel in Europe or North Africa with the Advance Saver rate, identified by the label “special offer.”

Activate this offer first, then book by Jan. 12, 2026, and stay between Dec. 17, 2025, and Feb. 27, 2026.

Card issuers offer deals and discounts on a wide range of products, from airfare to dining. Here are some of the offers we’ve rounded up this week. Targeted Amex Offer at Hilton brands

This Amex Offer, which we found on the American Express® Gold Card, could save you up to 20% on your next hotel stay.

Earn a $200 statement credit when you spend a minimum of $1,000 on one or more purchases at participating Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, LXR, NoMad and Signia properties globally by Dec. 31.

Targeted Amex Offer at Cambria and Radisson Blu

This next offer could be even more lucrative, saving you up to 33% on a stay.

Get $100 back as a statement credit when you spend a minimum of $300 on one or more purchases at participating Cambria and Radisson Blu hotels in the U.S., Canada, Aruba, Brazil and Chile by Dec. 31.

Targeted Chase Offer at Hyatt Place

If you’re a fan of World of Hyatt and/or extended-stay hotels, check your Chase account. We spotted this offer on the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (see rates and fees).

Earn 7% cash back on your Hyatt Place stay, up to a $28 cash-back limit, when you spend $100 or more by Dec. 15. This offer is valid in-store in the U.S. and online at U.S. website hyatt.com only.

Targeted Chase Offer at Sixt

Don’t forget to budget for a rental car if you’ll need wheels to explore your destination. If you can’t book your car with points, you could potentially save up to $76 with this Chase Offer.

Earn 15% cash back on your U.S. Sixt purchase when you spend $500 or more by Dec. 31, with a $76 cash-back maximum. Offer expires Dec. 31.
