New version of iOS 26.0.1 could release soon. What could change?

We already got an updated version of iOS 26, dubbed iOS 26.0.1 by Apple. But we could soon get a revised version of the already published update to iOS 26.

9to5 Mac reported that an anonymous leaker hinted there could be a new version of iOS 26.0.1 with the build number 23A357, separate from the original build number of 23A355. It’s worth noting that these sorts of leaks are rumors and not facts, though 9to5 Mac wrote this leaker had “a history of accurately leaking Apple software releases.”

The details of what could change with the revised build are unclear. The only guess from 9to5 Mac was that, perhaps, there were iPadOS revisions for the expected release of the M5 iPad Pro later this month. In that case, iPhone users might not see a change at all.

The version of iOS 26.0.1 we received already mostly fixed small bugs rather than making massive changes to the OS overall. The updates included a fix for Bluetooth disconnection errors for certain iPhone models and fixing blank app icons, for instance.

iOS 26 itself was a massive shift for iPhone users. It introduced the new Liquid Glass design, which changed how pretty much everything looked.

Users who regularly update their iPhone will have to keep an eye out to see if a new version of iOS 26.0.1 actually drops and what changes could come with that.
