Iran court sentences two French citizens to over 30 years in prison

Iranian authorities handed down two French nationals, unidentified but highly suspected to be Cécile Kohler and Jacques Paris, lengthy prison sentences on October 14, 2025. They were convicted on multiple charges including ‘spying for the French intelligence’, ‘association to commit a crime against national security’, and ‘intelligence cooperation with the Zionist regime.’
