‘The clock is ticking’: Lecornu faces tight deadline to form government

Sebastien Lecornu, who has just been reappointed prime minister, is scrambling to bring together a new cabinet amid heavy uncertainty. “The question really is: ‘who will be a part of this new government?’ One thing is for sure, the clock is ticking”, FRANCE 24’s Oliva Bizot said, adding that Lecornu has only until Sunday evening to form a government and put forward a budget by Monday.
