DRC’s Kamerhe quits before no-confidence vote

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, the president of the National Assembly has resigned. Vital Kamerhe was targeted by a petition signed by more than 260 deputies, accusing him of opaque management of the funds allocated to the assembly. This resignation came as a surprise and made headlines in the national press. Emmet Livingstone has more from the region.
