Macron stands with Palestine and Ukraine, refuting political ‘double standards’

In his speech at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, French President Emmanuel Macron spoke in defence of the organisation, countering US President Trump’s dismissal of the United Nations. Macron, who officially recognised the state of Palestine on Monday, announced his diplomatic support for both Gaza and Ukraine.
