Gen V blends gory anarchy with real-life grief in the show’s second season.

Created by Craig Rosenberg, Evan Goldberg and Eric Kripke, the spin-off from The Boys follows a group of young adult superheroes enlisted at the Godolkin University School of Crimefighting, who are all competing for a chance to join The Seven.

The show’s second season is layered with tragedy following the death of actor Chance Perdomo, who died in a motorcycle accident prior to filming. In the first season, Perdomo played Andre Anderson, who has a pertinent, rewritten role in the second.

Other cast members in the series include Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Asa Germann, Sean Patrick Thomas and Hamish Linklater.

Who composed the score for Gen V season 2?

Like the first season, Gen V season two is scored by composers Christopher Lennertz and Matt Bowen. The duo previously worked together on The Boys.
