Xbox Game Pass confirms more massive additions for September 2025

Microsoft has confirmed that even more titles will be joining Xbox Game Pass over the next couple of weeks – check out the full confirmed list below:

Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service that gives both Xbox and PC players access to a massive library of games. To keep things fresh, new titles are constantly being added while other games are removed.

In total, 21 games were added in August including Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Farming Simulator 25, the surprise release of the remastered Heretic + Hexen,Gears Of War: Reloaded and Dragon Age: The Veilguard. This month has already seen a number of titles join Xbox Game Pass including the long-awaited Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Now Microsoft has confirmed even more titles heading to Xbox Game Pass. “Just when you thought you could catch up on that backlog…” they wrote on social media. 

All the games confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass in September 2025:

• Roadcraft – Out now for Standard and Ultimate subscribers
• Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – September 17 for Standard and Ultimate subscribers
• For The King 2 – September 17 for Standard and Ultimate subscribers
• Overthrown – September 17 for Standard and Ultimate subscribers
• Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor – September 17 for Standard, PC and Ultimate subscribers
• Frostpunk 2 – September 18 for Ultimate and PC subscribers
• Wobbly Life – September 18 for Standard, PC and Ultimate subscribers
• Hades – September 18 for Standard, PC and Ultimate subscribers
• Endless Legend 2 –– September 22 for PC subscribers
• Sworn – September 23 for PC and Ultimate subscribers
• Peppa Pig: World Adventure – September 25 for Standard, PC and Ultimate subscribers
• Visions Of Mana – September 25 for Standard, PC and Ultimate subscribers
• Lara Croft And The Guardian Of Light – September 30 for Standard, PC and Ultimate subscribers

Earlier this year, Microsoft confirmed 19 Day One releases would be joining the Xbox Game Pass service throughout 2025 and beyond, The Outer Worlds 2 will launch in October alongside Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7, Keeper and Ninja Gaiden 4 while a number of titles will follow in 2026.

Back in May, more than 50 classic games were made available for Game Pass subscribers as part of Microsoft’s Retro Classics. “This initiative is a step in our commitment to game preservation and backwards compatibility, allowing players to experience many timeless games on modern devices.”

In other news, the official Borderlands 4 soundtrack features new music from Des Rocs and former One Direction star Zayn Malik.
