Nepal appoints first female PM as interim leader following deadly protests

Nepal appointed former chief justice Sushila Karki interim prime minister on Friday in a bid to appease student protesters whose deadly anti-corruption rallies toppled the previous government. Karki was known as an anti-corruption crusader in government while she was in office.
